My Bounty!

So this is what came out of my garden today... although perhaps I should point out that the egg was from the chickens. I guess the coop is in the garden...

As you can see, they are Cherry and Tommy Toes. These are from two plants that dad gave me, they are both fruiting really well. I have never had any luck growing big tomatoes. I have been thinking of sending away for some of the heirloom varieties you can purchase from Diggers, they look so lovely, fat and juicy and fabulous strong colours, look at these and these. Does anybody know anything about either of them?

But that isn't what got me so excited about the garden today.

It's a pea! Grown from a pea! Lol, I was so excited when I saw it, isn't he gorgeous there all on his own?

Here are all his friends, peas and beans. But these are seedlings that I bought, and I always feel like I am cheating when I grow from a seedling. See how he's out of the pack? It will be interesting to see how the see pea grows compared to the seedling peas. I'll document their progress, don't worry, you won't miss a moment.
