Eggplant Help - Make Your Own Fertiliser

Well the eggplant plant finally got around to doing what, presumably, it was born to do...
... and made an eggplant.

It looks good, doesn't it? Nice and eggplanty shaped, shiny and ready to pick?
Well it's not! Look how little it is! It's teeny tiny eggplant for fairies! And no, I don't have a giant thumb, it really is a miniature eggplant.
What's wrong with my eggplant? It is over a year old now and has produced around five fruits. The first two were huge, great big glossy eggplants, the next few medium sized, and now this, fairy food.

So I googled and googled and came to the possible conclusion that my eggplant plant is lacking in nitrogen. Well, not the eggplant plant as such, but the soil. So I googled homemade fertiliser, and I have come up with a superfood recipe. It's gross looking, so no photos, but it was hardly rocket science and just the basic idea of what I used should suffice.
So I grabbed a bucket and started. First of all I made a quiche, because I needed eggshells for calcium. A dozen eggshells went into the bucket. Then I had a cup of tea, I can't remember what tea has, but it's good too. Tea leaves into the bucket. Then I cleaned out my fish tank, because fish tank water has heaps of nitrogen in it. Into the bucket it went.

It was all a bit euwww, but grabbed a stick and broke up the eggshells as much as I could. In retrospect, I should have crushed them up first. When the eggshells were quite small, I poured the lot into the soil around the eggplant.

I'll do this once a week for a while and see how it goes. I guess it will either thrive or die!
I suspect that I could love this eggplant to its death :D

I'd like to solder sliver charms onto silver bracelet. Can anyone identify if it is simple for a novice and whatever would need exactly?

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get setup? I'm assuming having a
blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very web savvy so I'm
not 100% sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
