We started off with 750 grams of tomatoes.
This is a great recipe to make with kids, the boys sliced all our tomatoes in half.
Then I added half a cup of brown sugar, stirred it all in together, covered, and left the mixture overnight. The photo below shows what it should look like the next day, you can see there's a fair bit of liquid.
Next the tomato and sugar mixture went into a big pot, and I added a quarter of a cup of white vinegar, and two chillies. Two really wasn't enough, I'd add at least four or five next time, to be honest, you couldn't even taste that there were chillies in the jam at all.
