It's All My Fault- How to Get Rid of Mould from Zucchini

Yep, all my fault. These are my beautiful zucchini and squash plants, just covered in mould.
And I just left them and left them thinking it wouldn't affect the fruit... until this...

Now I understand why it's important to treat the mould when you first see it. It does get into the fruit and they just drop off like flies. I'm so kicking myself, if I'd nipped it in the bud when I first noticed it weeks and weeks ago, this wouldn't have happened.
As it happens, now it's spread to all the plants, and it's a huge job to fix.

But not to worry, I know what to do!

First of all, I went round to all the plants and cut off the leaves that were the most badly affected and put them in the bin. Once active, apparently the mould can live for quite some time, so you don't want to put it in your compost.

And then I tried something exciting. I tried chamomile tea.

I brewed up a kettleful, cooled it down with some ice and sprayed it on. All over, you really need to soak the leaves, top to bottom.

And that's it. I'll repeat the process every day and see what happens. Chamomile tea is supposed to not only alter the chemical balance of the leaf environment preventing the mould from growing, it also prevents it from returning.

We'll see. If it doesn't work, I'll go the milk/water solution.
