Third Time Lucky?

I have tried several times now with watermelon.
With zero success.
But something in me just keeps on trying.
Maybe this time?
Hang on to your hats little watermelons... I'm feeling lucky.

There MUST be a reason you are not having luck... Cannot grow them here in south Tassie - just not warm enough for long enough I think. Though a friends mum did last year in her glass house - but it did not taste nice apparently.

I do hope you work it out. Always a kick when you do!

You've got watermelon; I've got pumpkin.

Fingers crossed.

I hope your perseverance is amply rewarded. Look at it this way, even if you don't get any melons you have already got some great photos.

Looks like you'll have a good crop. I've been told they need lots of watering - but then what would I know. Yours look much better than mine. I have a sick litle vine which I should pull out and put out of its misery.

Good luck... Watermelon would be fantastic to grow. I don't think there's any hope for me down south though.

Damn you reminded me that I've left it a bit late to grow watermelon this year lol
Your baby watermelons are too cute, I hope they keep growing for you!

Good luck... we've had no luck with watermelons, so this year I am finally giving up & focusing on something else like pumpkins!!

I find that all those melons, pumpkins etc. often don't set at first. You have to get a lot of male and female flowers going.
