Bad Blogging and Watermelons

Oh yes, I have done it... I have produced watermelon. On its last legs it may well be (the children got to it today); I still grew a watermelon to the size of a grapefruit.

Which is at least ten times larger than any other watermelon I have grown.

If I were in competition with myself, then this melon would be taking home the blue ribbon.

Which is more than I can say for my poor neglected blog.

(I think I might be close to retirement :D)

No, I agree with Phoebe, you'd better not stop blogging! I was wondering where you were and missing your posts. Funny but favourite bloggers I've never even met become like friends. And I would definitely miss you.

Like the others, I've missed your humour...I'm with Phoebe too. And well done on the watermelon, you would win a competition with me too!

Good job!
We grew watermelons here in Montana one year. They were perfect and cute and the size of golf balls.
Did I mention that they were cute?
Oh well. I guess there's a reason Montana is not known for it's watermelon crops.

Nice to see you! I don't think we have room for watermelons, we're struggling as it is with baby pumpkins. :)

Looks as if there would be a riot if you retired from blogging.

Any sized watermelon is an achievement in my book.
